Clutter
An expression describing the presence on a trade marks register (in particular the European Community one) of a large number of trade marks - too many, some might argue, leading to depletion (qv) and foreclosure (qv). Because of frequent references to the concept throughout the Max Planck Insitute’s study on the Overall Functioning of the European [sic] Trade Mark System, I propose that it be named "Planck's Constant".
